Challenge #36... Stair Step Card

Wow, what wonderful creations we had last week! Congrats to Ann our winner... Also thanks to the Design Team for their wonderful inspirations. 

Now on to our next challenge.

This week we want to see Stair Step Cards. There are many great tutorials on the Internet and here is one that I found very helpful. Click here for tutorial. It can be a regular Stair Step Card or a Side Step Card. Just remember to use a Michelle Perkett image on your card somewhere. A Michelle Perkett Studio image is required for all MPS challenges. If you don't have one of Michelle's images you can find a freebie here or visit her shop to purchase one here. The challenge starts now and ends on Monday July 5th at 5PM CDT. The winner will receive a $10. voucher to use at Michelle's Etsy store.

Sweet Treat Heart Cups Card Idea

Well, what do you think of the new look of my blog?  It was fun freshening things up!

Speaking of a freshening up..... This fun card idea holds Candy Cane Bath Crystals from Lemongrass Spa.  These were some gifts I made for guests who brought a friend to my first spa party.  They loved the idea! And thanked me for the treat!

The hearts are clear cups that are self adhesive.  You fill them with what you like, then stick them down! I used the full heart punch to punch a heart for the treat cup to poke through.  So fun!

Stampin' Up! Autumn Days Emboss Resist Idea

Yes, it's been awhile :( So sorry!
I have been a bit preoccupied with life :)
In a good way.....Stamping for Card Classes, Stamp Club and some upcoming workshops and also doing my new love... Lemongrass Spa Parties!

I will be posting pics of my card class I had last night (8 cards we made!)
But for now I thought I'd share this great masculine card idea with the emboss resist technique.

Simply emboss your image on vanilla cardstock with clear embossing powder and then rub ink over the image with a sponge or sponge dauber.  VIOLA!
I also used our Bridesmaid Specialty Paper and ribbed ink on that too... it doesn't stick to the shiney stripes!

Challenge 35.....Cutting, Cutting Cutting

Hi everyone!!  Welcome back to another week at Michelle Perkett Studio.  First let me thank all of you who played along with us this last week.  You all are awesome!!!

Our challenge this week is going to require some cutting!!  :)  We would like for you to use punches, spellbinders, whatever kind of cutting tool that you have and we would also love to see some form of fussy cutting.  Get those scissors out girls!!  :)

"A Stitch In Time" Challenge # 34

Wow, we had some very lovely creations last week! Thanks to the DT and those who entered our challenge. I also want to thank Michelle for her beautiful digital images. Congrats to last weeks winner...
