Today's idea is one of those things where I went... duh... why didn't I think of that! I don't actually know where I got the idea, I think at a Stampin' Up! demonstrator event, like convention (the biggest stamping party in the world!)
Anyways, here goes:
We are going to be creating a flower with this little handy dandy punch.....
Begin by punching out a scallop out of your desired cardstock... here I am using whisper white.

Then, mark the center of the scallop with a pen or pencil... you don't have to be perfect on this.... you are just using it for a reference point.

Next, take your paper snips (yes, the ones from Stampin' Up! are the best... nice clean cuts right to the tip!) and cut apart the scallops, staying about 1/4 inch from the dot in the center.

Continue working your way around until you have all the scallops cut into petals as shown here.

And now... for my completed all occasions card......TA DA....

Yes, I know... you want to see that beautiful flower upclose.....I used the 2-Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the center piece... it's apricot appeal cardstock punched with the 1/2" circle punch (the same one you use on the Build-A-Brads.... versatile little thing, isn't it?)
Don't have this punch..... bummer... You don't have to wait any longer though! Let's get it ordered for you today!
