JESUS!!!

Yes, I truly LOVE JESUS! Call me a JESUS FREAK!!! It's true!! I'll never deny it! And with the season of Lent beginning yesterday on Ash Wednesday, it is a time to reflect on the sacrafice he gave for me, and for YOU!

And, in an effort to share my faith and love of Jesus through my stamping, I am going to be making more faith projects, like this one.

I actually have this on my mantle now, and I had to make 2 more of them for a couple of demonstrator friends of mine. I am their secret stamper and this is my gift to them. SHHHHH! Don't tell!

I used 2 of my new dies.... Simple Serif Alphabet, and the new Billbord Alphabet. it also features the Sale-a-Bration designer series paper you can get right now for FREE with a $50 order.

Simply PINK!!!!

I just got my new SIMPLE FRIENDSHIP stamp set... as well as lots of other goodies... like the beautiful butterflies die for my BIG SHOT, textured in-color cardstock, Simple Serif Alphabet dies (I finally splurged!) and more!

Well, today is a take-a-shower-after-lunch day so I could spend some time playing!

I used Pink Pirouette Textured Cardstock and Basic Gray. LOVE LOVE LOVE these cards! And you also get to see the new Eyelet Border Punch... I think this was my favorite one I made today....

Here is a close-up of that flower! It was made with my new SIMPLE FLOWER EMBOSSLIT for the Big Shot.... It coordinates with the Simple Friendship set.... stinkin' cute, isn't it?

This card uses the new butterfly die.... it's the one on the bottom. The top one I stamped from this set and cut out... layered on top and then tied it with ribbon to create the body. Loved that idea that I saw others doing!Here's a better look.....Isn't that textured cardstock the BOMB!

This card I stamped the cirlce Friend image on pink cardstock with Basic Gray ink, then I stamped it again on white cardstock. I cut out the FRIEND half from the white piece, and layered overtop of the pink one. Then I used our new jumbo circle punch to punch the piece out.Here's a close up... I used a pretty in pink marker to color in the flowers to make them stand out.

This set is made with Garden Greetings, and uses Riding Hood Red ink and paper, Candy Lane DSP and chocolate taffeta ribbon... YUMMY!

Mid Winter Retreat Part 2

As promised, here are some pics of the displays we had.... So many good ideas, I just couldn't take upclose pictures of all of them.... sorry! Come next time and you can see them all upclose and personal!!!!

This is an envelope scrapbook....We attached 3 enevelopes together to create a 3-pocket brag book!

I want to thank all of the ladies who participated in this fantastic event! We will definitely be doing it again in the very near future! In fact, watch for one in May to help support Alpha Family Center/Crisis Pregnancy Center here in Greenville, MI.

Mid Winter Retreat FUN!!!!

We had a BLAST at the Mid Winter Retreat/New Catalog Event!!!!

All of the ladies agreed that it was FABULOUS! And wanted me to tell you that you should NOT miss the next one!

Here are some of the highlights:

First off, everyone had a gift at their table.... something to help keep their strength up throughout the day! And they all received a packet with goodies! They could use the goodies to complete 3 projects that day (complete with color instructions) or they could use the supplies on their own projects......Here is Debbie with one of the projects she made with the supplies from her goodie bag! Debbie is also the owner of Huch's Fine Jewelry where I work in downtown Greenville... stop in and say hi sometime!
Down the center of the room were tables set up with goodies for everyone to use for FREE! Here are some of the stamp sets we brought for the ladies to use.....
And here was the BIG SHOT station... set up with THREE big shots, bigz dies, texture plates and more!!!! This was definitely the HOTTEST SPOT for the day!

The ladies had the chance to sign up for an optional class.... Love You Much... Here are Betty and Connie working on their projects... and they had so much fun making them!!!

Oh, you probably want to see the projects we made last night! Well, here they are!

This card was made with the new Sweet Stems set (and matching paper!) And of course... the texture in the background was with the Big Shot Texture Plates.

This card is made with.... come on, you know which set..... GARDEN GREETINGS! And it features the new eyelet border punch... sweeeeeeet!

And this one was my favorite! We created a pocket with the top note die for the big shot, then we used the cute and curly set with matching curly label punch to create the accent and the tab for the pullout card. The punch and die coordinate fantastically! Stampin' Up! thinks of everything... do they not????!!!!

The ribbon is the new organza.... LOVE IT!
