RemARKable LOVE Blog Tour - Day 2

Hello Stampin' Up! Lovers!

Here is my LOVEly project for today.... a sweet box made out of our petal card die.

You will need 4 cut outs w/ the petal card die.  Start by gluing them together as shown here:

Continue until you have all 4 pieces joined together like this....folding the top falps out and the bottoms ones in.

Next, glue the bottom flaps down securely.

After secured, here is how the bottom should look.....

The undecorated box looks like this:

I decorated the flaps using the NEW designer series paper from the occasions mini catalog... Sending Love.

I stamped 4 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock to place on the outsides of the box.  The images are from the NEW With All My Heart set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  Then I wrapped the NEW Pink Statin Ribbon around the box and tied it into a knot.  I then tied pieces of ribbon on the sides to make knots all the way around.

I made Build-A-Brads using one of the images in the With All My Heart Set... You can see how to make them HERE.

Finish it off with something else I LOVE.... CHOCOLATE!

Thanks for stopping by today... You will want to come back tomorrow (and also the day AFTER the tour ends) for another special project!

Blog tour day 4--PINK and BLACK Attack is BACK!

Only one day left.... BOO HOO! I know you are enjoying the RemARKable New Catalog Blog Tour, and I am having so much fun stamping with items from the new catalog! You will see TONS of new ideas at my New Catalog LUAU on July 17! If you want to know more about how you can attend this FREE event, sign up for my newsletter by using the signup box on the right.

Ok, on to some more fun ideas!

I LOVED the colors in yesterday's post, so I kept them going again today! (I think that the ones from yesterday and today will make a great class this summer :)

Here I used the BIG SHOT alot! I used the top note and daisy dies plus the polkadot texture plate to create this little masterpiece! The stamp set featured is the Circle Circus set with Melon Mambo, Pretty In Pink and Basic Black ink/paper. So much fun fun fun!

The images in the Teeny Weeny Wishes set all fit inside the new Modern Label punch too.... (do you think SU! knew when they created it????) They are so bad! So much coordination it drives me crazy! We are definitely the one stop shop for all things wonderful!
The accent on the card below was done with a build a brad! I had to dust these little guys off to use them. I totally forget about how great they are to make a fabulous accent. Use the 1/2" circle punch to punch out your image, apply it to the top of the brad with snail.... apply the clear bubble and viola! Insta brad! (The Thank You is also from the Teeny Weeny Wishes set.)
Here's a close up of that accent! It's actually one stamp from the Circle Circus set, stamped on different colors of cardstock with different inks, and then you use different punches to punch out several layers of that one image. FABULOUS!
Well, I'm definitely a girly girl, and these adorable little treasures are right up my alley!
Watch my calendar of events to find out when you can come over to my pad and make these for yourself!
Well, now you are off to Denise Thomas' blog... See you back tomorrow! :)

Stamp and Share Ideas

I have some of the most creative ladies in my group (and the most FABULOUS ONES as well, if I do say so myself!)

Here are some of the fun ideas they shared with us on Monday at our Stamp & Share event. OH, I forgot to tell you yesterday that we have our events at a FANTASTIC restaraunt in town... TWIST AND SHOUT! Great food, and just the sweetest owners! (and yes, they are stampers too!!!)
Ok, back to the samples.....
You KNOW I LOVE the big shot, and this card with our daisy die is another reason why! Isn't it beautiful!

Here is a sneak peek of what's coming in the new occasions mini catalog.. two of the new sets, and the new scallop oval punch are shown on this card.

This one features a Sale-A-Bration set and ribbon. Love the idea of using the eyelet border punch as a frame! Cool!

More samples to come.........

Build-A-Brads--I Love 'Em!

I think these are one of my favorite accessories, and lately, I've had people ask me how to use them. They see them in the catalog, but don't really know how they work.... well, today's post is for you!

Here are the contents of the Build-A-Brads... they come in Pewter (shown here) and antique brass finishes and include 20 brads and pebble gems for the top (and extra pebbles....)

You can use any small image, or any Designer Series Paper that you want to use to create your custom brad. Here I stamped the small flower from Enjoy Every Moment stamp set.

Then take your 1/2" circle punch, use it upside down so you can line up the image, and then punch it out. Use adhesive (mini glue dots work great) to adhere punched out image to top of the brad.

Then apply the sticky back pebble over top of the image.... viola! You have your own custom brad! Aren't they awesome!!!!

Here is my completed card..... isn't it lovely, darling!!

How about an upclose view of that flower......

And what would you do with those extra pebbles, you ask??? How about this....

For only $9.95 they are an absolute bargain.... You know you are dying for some of your own, so go ahead... call me! 616.894.0144 or littleinker@gmail.com!
