Happy Saturday and welcome to the weekend! Gotta love the summertime with the wonderful longer days, BBQ and ice cream! Well, not that we can't BBQ or have ice cream at other times, but it seems particularly yummy during the hot weather.

Yea, it's the weekend! Happy Saturday blog readers! Welcome to the weekend and hopefully some relaxation, fun and great friendship (oh and coloring digital stamps of course!!) today!

Welcome to this week's Spotlight Saturday! Yea, it's the weekend! What is everyone doing today? Any crafting or fun projects in the works for you today or is it a "clean the house" kind of day? It's a bit rainy here in South Florida, so I think that I'll be doing some laundry and coloring - what a great day!

Hello and happy Saturday! For many in the US and Canada, it's a long weekend! Yesterday was Canada Day and Monday is Independence Day. Wave your flag and spend time with family during this wonderful kick-off to summer!

As you know Michelle released her new "Angel Set" last Sunday and we have been having a great

'new release' party all this week at our Papercraft Planet Group!

"Love", "Inspiration", "Faith" & "Hope"

have been making quite a few appearances on our creations!

Firstly I'd like to show you the winning card from our release party "challenge" at PCP:
This card was made by Rene on of our PCP Group Members - isn't it great?
Rene had one hour to make a card using one of Michelle's sentiment designs
and this was what she came up with!!

Spotlight Saturday!

Pffff.... don't know what to think of the weather... we started this morning with bright and sunshine... but somehow the clouds thought that playing hide and seek with the sun is a fun thing to do....

Well I totally disagree with them. I had plans to sit on the balcony this afternoon and read my new book Eat, Pray and Love.

I saw the movie and was so so touched by it... and for Mom's day I got the book. And it really is a great book to read! Sometimes it's hard to choose,,,, reading a book or making cards... Hah...

I want to thank you all for the lovely and caring wishes that I got last saturday on my post. I'm still waiting for more news. Got some more test last week. So I hope that coming week will bring me some clearity on all of this.

Spotlight Saturday!

Oh boy.... is it already Saturday again??? Girl I'm telling you.... I can't keep up with how time is flying....

So here I'm (Marion) again... what to write about this week... little empty in the head... So much going on in my personal life here... not going in details here... but I'm in the middle of some serious health issues...

And for this time I have a blank head and feeling for coloring and making cards... So I hope you will forgive me for keeping this a very short story today... and just show you some of the fantastic cards that the team made for you all!

I start with a card that I made for a team member to give her strength... and every time when I look at the image Angel of Hope I feel the hope and strength from it. So this one I made is also for me now.

This card is made by Jenn... and for me it stands for the girls in this DT Team... we stand together in good and in bad times! The image is called Best Friends.

This card is made by Elenor and for me it resembles my mom and me... she is trying to help me with all the fear and sadness that I have right now.... This Mermon Mom is caring for her child!

Irene made a beautiful card with the new stamp Hannah and I hope that I will be like that in a while and can see to the future without fear.

And there are so many more cards made with wonderful and caring image from Michelle that can mean a lot more to someone than you can imagine.

Allthough I didn't use a card from every team member... I want to tell them... each has a meaning for me!

Spotlight Saturday!

Goodmorning Ladies,

Wow... What a fantastic Guest Designers have been passing by lately! All these girls show there cards at our Paper Planet Group... and Shelley picks them out!

Love to see what you all make with the beautiful images from Michelle.

Yesterday there was the Royal Wedding in England. Did you watched it, or part of it. I did... And I thought it was so beautiful. What a stunning dress Kate was wearing! 

I think they are no asleep after a long night partying in the castle!

But not for us in The Netherlands. We have our own Royals here... and in the Netherlands April 30th is our Traditional Queens Day!!!

Our Queen and the Royal Family is visiting two towns today and they will watch all kinds of things that locals of those towns prepared for them. Her sons and their wives enter those games and make lot's of fun! It's on National TV here.

And in each town in my little country there are Old Dutch Games for the children and there is a Free Market where children can sale their toys to others. 

It's a national Holiday over here! 

So when the program at TV starts I will be sitting at the couch with my Orange colored pastry and a Latte Machiatto and watch the fun on TV and after that my DD and I go to the market.

One big day of fun for us here!

Goodmorning ladies!

Today it's another beautiful day over here in The Netherlands. Everybody is busy with making preparations for Easter tomorrow. And so are the kids and I. They are cleaning the house with my help. It's not a lot of work... within a little hour the house is ready and they can be outside with friends all day!

What are you all doing for preparations for Easter? Are you decorating the house? Are you hiding Easter Eggs? Can you tell us more about your Easter Traditions?

Spotlight Saturday!

I'm cheating a little bit with this post....

I've made this one a bit sooner... wanted to work ahead... don't ask me why... I just feel that...

So here is my post.

Every time I think of what will I write about this saturday. What will I share with you from my personal life and feelings, hoping that you like it and don't mind me being so personal.

Well today I want to share a bit of me again. Some of our mermaids have such a great place to leave all the cards that they make. 

They send them to Operation Write Home, www.chemoangels.com, 

just two that came by and I was touched by this. Because I have 3 boxed filled with cards and they are just doing nothing there. Now and then I sell one or sent one to someone... but most of them stay in their boxes.

So I decided to find organisations in my country to sent my cards to... well.. big disappointment... but I can't find any!!! How strange is this? I googled and surfed the internet.. but none.

Now what I began to wonder is.... what are you all doing with all those cards that you make.

Can you share more organisations with us who are in need for our cards? 

Just somewhere on this planet... there must be more of those?? Right?

Well share them with us in our comment section please... and if you are just like me.. having boxes filled with cards... please donate them to a good cause and make some people happy with them!

Lot's of writing this week... almost took all the place that I want to use for sharing some more cards. Because don't forget, this week we have this fabulous challenge with the theme to Thank your Mom!
