Let the Tour Begin!

Day 1 of the RemARKable Stampers Holiday Blog Tour!

Are you ready....?  Let's get on with the ride!

Today I am showing some fun ideas with our new SHIMMER PAINT (p. 27) from the Holiday Mini Catalog.....It is so GORGEOUS and easy to use... And it dries so quick!  (I didn't smear or smudge once!)

This Christmas card idea uses the new Serene Snowflakes Set (p.26-27) from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I stamped the snowflakes in Bordering Blue, Sahara Sand and also with the Shimmer Paint.
Simply apply the paint directly to the stamp using a sponge dauber.  Then stamp your image.
Here is a closeup so you can see how the paint shimmers (the camera just doesn't do it justice!)
You can also create very elegant wedding invitations with the SHIMMER PAINT too!
Here I used the beautiful Wedding Sweet set with the champagne shimmer paint... I applied it directly to the stamp with a sponge dauber.
The Big Shot using the Top Note Die and Finial Press Embossing Folder helps to round out the elegant look.
It's absolutely gorgeous!!!!
And lastly, but not least... Here is my favorite Christmas card (it will probably be the one I do for my cards this year...)
I used the new Sweet Treats (p 6-7) and Serene Snowflakes (p 26-27) sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  The colors are Blush Blossom and Soft Suede.
I stamped the image in soft suede on blush blossom cardstock, then I punched it out with our 1-3/4" circle punch.  Then, take some Champagne Shimmer Paint on a sponge dauber and rub it over the front of the punched out circle.  The result is stunning!

See you back tomorrow!

Stampin' Up! Wedding Idea

One of my friends, Deb, is getting married in October.  And like most brides, she is working within a budget.
Well we saved her a ton of money making these beautiful wedding invitations.
Greenhouse Garden is the set we used, with pretty in pink and melon mambo.  The white organza ribbon is the perfect elegant touch.
All of the the information was printed on the computer.
Deb's wedding is going to be fabulous!  And these invitations are just one of the personalized touches she added.

If you need help designing your wedding invitations, party favors, banners, and more, I'd love to help you come up with just what you're looking for.  I've helped lots of ladies plan their perfect wedding and I can help you too.

More Wedding Invitations

Here's another lovely idea to inspire your wedding planning.
Pink Pirouette is a soft pink, perfect for invitations like this one!
I used the new texture plates for my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, and then I stamped You're Invited on vellum. I attached it to the front of the invitation, and then used my Simple Flower Sizzlet to create the flower accent with a rhinestone brad.
On the inside I continued the swirl theme using the Simple Friendship set with basic gray ink and stamped some pink flowers too.

It's never too early to start planning your wedding invitations, thank yous, table favors and all the other little details. I can help you! I offer FREE planning consultations, and also offer special incentives when your order your supplies from me. Call me today to get started (616) 894-0144.

I Do!

Are you getting married, or is someone you know making plans?

Make sure to talk to me about how you can make your own wedding invitations, save the date cards, reception cards, RSVP cards, programs, party favors, thank yous and more!!!!

I've helped SEVERAL ladies make theirs, and saved them HUNDREDS of dollars!

Here is a classic/elegant idea....
All white never goes out of style. Here I used our new texture plates for the Big Shot to create a polka dot background. I punched white hearts using the heart to heart punch, and layerd them on top. Our new organza ribbon adds the perfect elegant touch to any wedding invitation (and at a great price). And a lacy border created with our eyelet border punch. LOVE IT! Oh to have had these ideas when I got married 20 years ago!

The inside is easy to create with the computer! I printed 4 of these on one piece of cardstock. After I cut them into fours, I ran them throught the texture plates as well to give the same background effect as the front of the invitation. When you purchase your supplies from me, I will meet with you to customize an invitation that is perfect for YOU! I will even do up the inside wording and send it to you in an email so all you have to do is print it off your computer. How simple is that!

And, of course, a coordinating party favor with CHOCOLATE! Here I used the Pillow Box Die for the Big Shot, and then ran it through the texture plates. I then used the heart punch to create a window, and added a piece of window sheet to the inside.... And silver Hershey kisses for the treat! Almost too beautiful to eat.
Make sure to ask me about my special "brides" offer and how you can get some of your materials for FREE! Yes, FREE!!!!

Watch for more wedding ideas to come. It's spring, and LOVE IS IN THE AIR!
