Our last night in Hawaii was definitely ended in true, fabulous, Stampin' Up! Style!!! It was an absolutely amazing evening.... a Hawaiian Luau!
These beautiful little girls actually greeted us when we got to the huge resort lawn. They gave both Gary and I shell leis....
The shells were strung with ribbon printed with Hawaii '09 Stampin' Up!
All around the luau, there were areas set up like the one below where you could learn something fun about the culture. Poi (if I remember right) is made from the root of the tarro plant (please correct me if I have this wrong!)

The feast was ELABORATE! Everything was new to me (other than the veggies!) Lots of great island food (all we wanted and more!)
The Polynesian entertainers were awesome! There were lots of great dancers and the fire show was phenomenal... especially since there were very gusty winds that night (actually blew over some of the stage lighting before the show started!)
Another cool thing were the tribal guys walking around for us. They stopped and let us get our pictures taken with them. Here's a close up:
