More Hawaii

There were lots of fun things to do at our resort. One of the things was the DOLPHINS. Right on site, you could swim with the dolphins. We sat on the shore and watched them one day.... they were just swimming in their lagoon and one of them found a ball and decided to play in front of us. It was cool to see him playing around.... he was doing it for nothing! Of course the flowers and plants on the island are like none other. I thought of my friend Patty when I took these pictures. She always has lots of great pics she takes of her flower garden. So these are for you Patty!
And everywhere you went around the island was lava graffiti.... People take the white coral that washes up on the beaches, and use it to write messages on the black lava. It started near the Kona airport, but has spread out to all the areas of the island. The great thing is that it does NO damage to the island, as it is all natural, and all of the messages we saw were sweet and nice (nothing naughty like you see on the mainland cities!)

So, in keeping with tradition, I thought it only fitting that I leave my mark on the island. How fun is that!

While in Hawaii, we had a general session to see some fun ideas and also some sneek peaks of new products that will be coming out in the new catalog in July--like the new in-colors, new stamp sets, and dies for the big shot! Oh, and fun new ribbon too! But.... I can't post pictures... we couldn't even take pictures that's how secret all of this stuff is! :)

But, they did show us the new printed window sheets that are in the occasions mini catalog starting TODAY! Here is a great way to attach the sheets to a cardfront without using adhesive (as the adhesive can show through and look ugly!)

Here, she punched out a 1/2" circle from yellow cardstock, then placed it over the center of the flower on the printed window sheet. Using our paper piercer tool and foam mat from the tool kit, she punched a hole in the center......
Then she secured the window sheet to the cardfront with brads. Very fun and clever!
Watch for lots of great ideas with items from the occasions mini catalog!
