Hello and welcome to the Michelle Perkett Studios Tuesday challenge!

What a beautiful creatings you all made for last weeks challenge! I was so inspired by you all!

Thanks for joining us and I hope that you all join us again in this weeks Challenge.

This week we are going to make our own design or background papers and use an image of Michelle!

In Michelle’s Etsy Store you can find a beautiful collection with images! And you can make your own designpaper by stamping or coloring or use all kinds of cardstock. Anything you like, as long as you don’t use pre made design papers.

And no linking to previous work please!

Spotlight Saturday Sale!

Hi it's me again. And this time on the right day!

So I hope that you are stopping by to see what's up for this day.

Well today it's Tammy's turn to tell a little about her Christmas Traditions.

Tammy:

Spending quality time with family and friends. We do a lot of cooking, baking and even make a few different candies.

I love Christmas movies...So every year I watch The Sound of Music, A Christmas Carol and my all time favorite is It's a Wonderful life!!

My husband and I always get bundle up and walk around our neighborhood and look at all the Christmas lights, we do that often...I love Christmas lights.

Christmas Eve is a big gathering...a huge meal. Before we eat, we go around the table and each person will say what they are Thankful for...we have been doing this for years. ....These are just a few of my family's traditions.

Tammy thanks for sharing this with us and giving a glimps into your life!

She is really my favorite image for this time of year.

And the girls made some stunning things with this fabulous Fairy!

French Foliage HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

This card was so easy to make.  I used Old Olive, More Mustard and Cajun Craze ink and cardstock with the AWESOME French Foliage set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  

The leaf on the center piece was done using the rock and roll technique.... Ink the stamp in mustard, then roll the edges of the stamp in cajun craze ink.... then stamp.

French Foliage Card Idea

This card is not my original idea.... but as soon as I saw it, I memorized it and HAD to recreate it.

It uses the French Foliage stamp set from the Holiday Mini catalog..... And the Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizza paper and ink are AMAZING together!

I thought the "Imagine the Possibilities" greeting was the PERFECT sentiment considering the FABULOUS STARTER KIT SPECIAL going on right now!  What can you imagine you could do for you and your family as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator?  Joining with the HALF PRICE starter kit could mean HUGE OPPORTUNITIES for you!  Let's talk about what that means!

Spotlight Sunday

Spotlight Satur....eh... Sunday!

Ok... here is the regular post. I'm sorry that it's a day later than you girls normally expect it. But I've been ill last week and couldn't get out off bed in time to make you the normal post.

But after finally getting new medications on Friday I'm able to be up for a while today.

So I decided to make a quick and little stop here at the blog.

Did you all went to the party last Thursday at the SNR group? 

You didn't.... and You did!!!! 

Well for those who missed it... there was another releaseparty!

Yes... there is nothing wrong with your eyes...

We have a new familymembers here!!

I so love these images!!!!! And you know what... I hope I will be feeling better soon so I can start coloring them and make cards with them. They are to good to let them stay in 

the store!

Bells & Boughs Stair Step Christmas Card

Ok, I know I am going to hear it for this one after yesterday's post about how I don't make things that are complicated.  Well, this isn't 'complicated' but it is VERY PUTSY!

The Bells & Boughs set from the Holiday Mini Catalog is so elegant!  I stamped them with Stazon ink and watercolored them with Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke ink and an aquapainter.  The ruffle is our gold Waffle Paper.

Once in awhile I have to do a work of heART!  While this was fun to do ONCE, I don't think I'd make 50 of them or anything! lol!  Lots of cutting, but worth the results!

Quilt Top Note Die

Now, I know you are going to think this was WAY to complicated, but you should know me better than to think I'd do something complicated! lol!

I took a piece of white cardstock and attached 1-1/4" squares of Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper to it (just cover the whole piece).  Then, I ran it through the Big Shot with the Top Note Die.  Super easy!

The background piece it textured with the big shot using the lattice embossing folder.

Because I care.... Hmmmm, I am sure you've had someone tell you about something hard they are going through.  Wouldn't they love to get a handmade card from you letting you know that you care and are praying for them?  You are praying for them aren't you? That's the best gift you can give someone.
